About Palm Beach Atlantic University

Palm Beach Atlantic University, often abbreviated as PBA, is a coeducational Christian university located in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA, established in 1968 with 110 enrolled students and since then it has continuously grown, currently having an enrollment estimated at a number of nearly 3260 students. PBA is accredited to award associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and a doctor of pharmacy degree.

University is famous for the community work program, "Workship" where each student contributes with 45 hours of work annual, since the institution when founded over 2 million hours are collected. Also, it is renowned for educational programs in business, education, media communication, theater, music, ministry and counseling. Arts & Sciences, Communication & Media, Education & Behavioral Studies, Gregory School of Pharmacy, MacArthur School of Leadership, Ministry, Music & Fine Arts, Nursing, and Rinker School of Business are the nineth academic schools of PBA.

Athletics

Palm Beach Atlantic University's athletic teams are called Sailfish who compete in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Division II and in National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association (NCCAA), in several sports, for both men and women. The official colors are sailfish blue and white and Sailfish is name of their mascot.
